Our personal views are never far apart;
Each by the other may be persuaded.
That’s why I say, “Since life is sedated,
Perhaps it is time for us to start
Searching for ways to motivate the heart.”
We, with urges different, but related,
Should trade a forest that is jaded
For a field that shows the full scope of art;
But know that nothing is like nature’s dress.
We could become addicted to the sweet.
That field is not to be an evening treat;
It is for those who seldom venture to excess.
Let us, with cautious steps, begin to move
Along the borders of this modern grove.

 THIS IS NOT A SERIOUS POEM!!!
